About the Role: Package Handler Trainer

As a Package Handler Trainer at the 461 Exeter Road London facility, your primary focus is on the safe and efficient movement of packages through the operation. Day to day, that means loading and unloading freight, scanning and sorting packages, and transporting freight within and between facilities. On top of that, you’ll be actively training other Package Handlers on the correct methods to handle freight — ensuring both productivity and workplace safety are maintained.

Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you’ll be expected to uphold Canadian Customs regulations, adhere to FedEx safety protocols, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills when coaching colleagues. A valid full G class driver’s licence is required for this position, and you must maintain a clean driving record. Shifts are structured across weekday and weekend schedules, so flexibility is key.

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (preferred)
• Six (6) months of experience as a Package Handler (preferred)
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations (preferred)
• Good interpersonal skills for coaching and communicating with team members
• Physical capability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Valid full G class driver’s licence with a driving record of two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months
