About the Role: Overnight Remodel Associate

This position covers a wide range of physical and operational tasks. You’ll be completing modulars, securing high-ticket merchandise, maintaining the clearance zone, and loading or unloading fixtures from trucks. You’ll also build counters from kit sheets according to store layout prints and merchandise newly set departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh.

Teamwork and attention to detail are central to this role. You’ll need to follow cold chain compliance guidelines, assist with shrink prevention, and adhere to safety requirements — including the occasional use of steel-toed boots and a hard hat in construction zones. Responsibilities

The Overnight Remodel Associate role involves a broad set of tasks that keep Walmart’s newly renovated departments running smoothly and looking their best. Every night brings a mix of physical work, attention to detail, and collaboration with your team to meet merchandising standards on schedule.

• Secure high-ticket merchandise by ensuring it is properly stored in designated locations
• Set modulars by printing mod sheets and labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL and DSM systems, and linking mods to DSM labels where required
• Stock multiple departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh
• Follow cold chain compliance guidelines to maintain quality assurance across temperature-sensitive products
• Assist with shrink prevention by scanning damaged or stolen merchandise in a timely manner
• Build new counters using kit sheets and layout prints provided by the Lead Specialist
• Operate equipment to move counters safely and efficiently around the store
• Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in line with Walmart’s accepted standards
• Load and unload fixtures onto trucks as part of the remodel process
• Work in construction areas as needed, wearing required safety equipment including steel-toed boots and a hard hat
