Overnight Associate – Walmart – Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC

This Overnight Associate position at Walmart Canada is a temporary (fixed term) role based at the Vaudreuil-Dorion store, with a minimum pay rate of $18.75/hour. The schedule covers mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights.

Getting the store ready for opening is a central part of the job. That means setting and merchandising features, signing displays, and labelling the sales floor so it’s ready when customers arrive.

You’ll also contribute to a safe, clean and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and making sure displays and fixtures are secure.

Responsibilities

The duties below cover the full overnight cycle, from receiving freight to preparing the store for opening. There is a stronger emphasis on backroom labelling and stocking in this role than in day or evening positions.

• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of other types of merchandise
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Process merchandise by labelling items and placing them in the correct backroom bins
• Stock the sales floor as assigned throughout the overnight shift
• Set, merchandise and sign features as part of store preparation
• Label the sales floor in advance of store opening
• Provide customer service when necessary during the shift
• Maintain a safe, clean and hazard-free environment by following company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures
