Walmart Canada’s store in Coquitlam, BC is hiring an Overnight Associate to join their in-store team. About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate at Walmart Coquitlam, your primary focus is on the flow of merchandise from the receiving area through to the sales floor. You’ll be unloading trailers, pulling and placing pallets, and ensuring products are properly labelled and stocked before the store opens. A key differentiator of the overnight role compared to day or evening positions is the stronger emphasis on backroom labelling and bin placement, so attention to detail matters here.

Safety and cleanliness are a top priority. You’ll be expected to follow Walmart’s safety policies and procedures, complete safety sweep logs, and make sure all displays and fixtures are properly secured. You’ll work as part of a coordinated overnight team, strategically planning your duties based on workload and store needs.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.40 per hour. • Prepare the sales floor for store opening each morning, ensuring everything is in place
• Set, merchandise, and sign features as directed by the overnight plan
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of various merchandise types
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label merchandise and place items in designated backroom bins — a key focus of the overnight shift
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when required
• Label the sales floor in preparation for store opening
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
