About the Role: Full-Time Package Car Driver

As a UPS Package Car Driver based out of 12424 Dixie Rd, Caledon, ON, your primary responsibility is ensuring packages reach their destinations efficiently and safely. You’ll follow UPS’s safe and defensive driving methods while managing a route that may include residential and commercial stops. The shift runs from 9:15 AM, Tuesday through Saturday, with flexibility required based on operational needs and occasional Monday availability.

This role also involves loading and unloading trucks, maintaining accurate delivery records, and upholding UPS’s professional appearance standards by wearing the company-provided uniform. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, both outdoors and in warehouse settings, so readiness for varying temperatures and consistent physical activity is essential.

Benefits and Salary

This position starts at $20.00 per hour, with a guaranteed wage progression through the Union Collective Agreement up to $42.33 per hour after 48 months of service. Drivers receive weekly pay via direct deposit every Friday, paid training, and overtime eligibility. After one year, you’ll gain access to extended health care benefits including vision, dental, life insurance, and health coverage, along with a pension plan and up to two weeks of paid vacation (increasing with years of service). Note that monthly union dues of approximately $52/month and a one-time $50 union initiation fee (deducted after 90 working days) apply.
