About the Role: FP&A Advisor

Responsibilities
Day-to-day, this role blends high-level financial analysis with project coordination, stakeholder communication, and team development. The FP&A Advisor is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, driving initiatives forward and keeping Finance Leadership informed at every stage.
- Provide technical direction and project leadership for analysis of diverse business proposals and strategic plans
- Develop and support business plan and strategic plan processes with creative, initiative-driven analysis
- Represent Finance management interests and perspectives confidently without requiring coaching or prompting
- Navigate open-ended assignments (greenspace analytics) and drive them through to resolution
- Anticipate business situations proactively and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Present to diverse audiences using diplomacy and adapted messaging suited to each stakeholder group
- Lead major cross-functional projects by coordinating within and across departments
- Train and mentor fellow staff members and actively seek out leadership opportunities
- Champion quality by demonstrating attention to detail and initiating quality improvement processes
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the broader Finance team
Requirements / Skills
The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in financial analysis and planning, paired with the communication skills to influence senior decision-makers and the leadership instincts to elevate those around them. - Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline (a Master’s degree may offset experience requirements)
- Minimum five (5) years of directly related experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit, or operational analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated creativity in addressing business issues
- Proven ability to self-manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to adapt messaging to varied audiences
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for candidates residing in Quebec
- PC/Windows environment proficiency and ability to complete mandatory training and recurrence certification
