Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll serve as the central point of coordination across a wide range of project stakeholders, from internal teams to external clients in the Telco sector. Your day-to-day work combines strategic planning with hands-on execution — managing roadmaps, assessing risks, and keeping every stakeholder informed and accountable.

  • Manage program roadmaps that outline project goals, deliverables, and timelines, using them to set clear stakeholder expectations and coordinate resources effectively
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify work problems, define program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and assess program-wide impact
  • Lead risk identification and assessment activities — including budget, schedule, resource, and technical risks — and develop mitigation plans to address foreseeable challenges
  • Monitor risk evolution throughout the project lifecycle and document its influence on program objectives
  • Establish and track processes in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring teams are held accountable for following agreed-upon procedures
  • Identify sponsors and stakeholders, secure necessary resources, and ensure all work is aligned with compliance and privacy policies
  • Champion process improvements by identifying opportunities for optimization and supporting the adoption of new workflows across teams

Requirements / Skills

Google is looking for a seasoned program leader who brings both technical fluency and strong interpersonal skills to the table. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable managing a detailed risk register and presenting a strategic roadmap to senior executives.   • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as required by program engagements
  • Program Management certification is considered an asset (e.g., PMP, PgMP)
  • Experience at a technology company in a program management capacity is preferred
  • Stakeholder management expertise, including the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Data-driven decision making — ability to identify, collect, and analyze relevant data to inform program direction
