About the Role: Delivery Driver (Class 5)

As a Package Delivery Driver at UPS, your primary responsibility is picking up and delivering parcels efficiently and professionally across assigned residential areas. You’ll work Monday to Friday with start times between 9 AM and noon, logging roughly 40 to 45 hours per week. New drivers may be assigned to cover multiple areas, so local knowledge and map-reading skills are definite advantages.

UPS holds its drivers to high standards — from safe driving practices to following appearance guidelines and maintaining a clean driving record. Your ability to manage a physical workload and interact courteously with customers throughout the day is central to success in this role.

Benefits and Salary

UPS offers a competitive starting hourly rate of $20/h, with a maximum rate of $37.29/h achievable through a probation and 48-month progression schedule. Responsibilities

• Delivering packages to residential addresses across assigned Quebec City routes in a safe and timely manner
• Navigating routes using map books and area knowledge to maximize efficiency throughout each shift
• Handling parcels that may weigh up to 70 lbs. independently, or up to 150 lbs. with assistance
• Maintaining professionalism by following UPS appearance guidelines and representing the brand positively with every customer contact
• Covering multiple residential areas when required, adapting to varying route assignments as volume demands
• Completing deliveries in compliance with UPS safety standards and provincial traffic laws

Requirements / Skills

UPS is looking for dependable, safety-conscious drivers who take their responsibilities seriously on and off the road. The ideal candidate is physically fit, customer-focused, and holds a clean driving record. The following are required to be considered:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (or higher) issued in the province of Quebec
• Minimum age of 21 years old (required for insurance purposes)
• Clean driver’s abstract — no at-fault accidents in the last 3 years and no traffic violations in the last 12 months
• Driver’s abstract must be provided prior to the road test
• Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35 kg) unassisted and up to 150 lbs. (68 kg) with assistance
• Map reading ability — comfortable navigating with map books in unfamiliar areas
