About the Role: Customer Consultant III, Platform, Google Cloud

As a Platform Customer Consultant at Google Cloud, you’ll serve as the primary technical partner for enterprise customers from initial engagement through post-sales delivery. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be balancing strategic account planning with deep technical execution. From running workshops and demos to guiding post-sales delivery, your day-to-day work will directly shape how enterprise customers adopt and scale Google Cloud solutions.

  • Develop and execute the technical account strategy, collaborating on account planning and supporting targeted go-to-market initiatives
  • Combine consultative expertise with programming and solutions architecture skills to demonstrate Google Cloud value through complex demos, pilots, and in-depth workshops
  • Lead proofs of concept and technical demonstrations, architecting cross-pillar cloud solutions that address customer business objectives
  • Facilitate post-sales transitions by assisting with technical scoping and solution sizing, then handing off delivery plans to implementation teams
  • Monitor progress against delivery plans, providing guidance to cross-functional teams during ramp, migration, and implementation phases
  • Identify new workload opportunities, support security and penetration testing evaluations, and define consumption plans in collaboration with technical and business leaders
  • Troubleshoot technical roadblocks and serve as the customer’s primary technical partner throughout the engagement lifecycle

Requirements / Skills

Google is looking for a technically deep, client-savvy professional with a strong track record in cloud-native architecture and customer-facing roles. You should be equally comfortable presenting to a CTO and rolling up your sleeves to debug a complex architecture challenge. Bilingualism in French and English is a firm requirement for this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant technical field
  • 10 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support capacity
  • Fluency in French (written and spoken) to support clients in Quebec — this is a mandatory requirement
  • Experience engaging technical stakeholders and executive leaders with practical, scalable cloud solutions
  • Proficiency in programming languages, systems design, debugging, prototyping, and customer workshops or demonstrations
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time as required by client engagements
  • Preferred: experience in infrastructure or application modernization, data analytics, cloud AI, networking, migrations, or security
  • Preferred: familiarity with security concepts including encryption, identity management, access control, and penetration testing
