Responsibilities

As a FedEx Courier in Lethbridge, your daily work keeps the supply chain moving for both businesses and individual customers. From the moment you start your route to your final drop-off, accuracy, professionalism, and safe driving are at the centre of everything you do.

• Pick up and deliver packages efficiently on an assigned route
• Verify shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service
• Provide customer service functions related to deliveries and pickups
• Complete mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training to required thresholds
• Operate in a PC Windows environment and complete all recurrence training and annual accreditations
• Work varying shifts based on business needs, including Saturdays and coverage shifts
• Handle packages safely, lifting up to 70 lbs and manoeuvring items up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment

Requirements / Skills

• High school diploma or educational equivalent required
• Valid driver’s licence with a good driving record (two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months)
• Physical capability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with equipment
• One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including holidays, as required by business needs
