Job Summary & Tips for Applying

AI-generated summary and tips to help you highlight your strengths effectively.

Quick Summary & What to Highlight: The Casual Courier-1 position at Federal Express Corporation Canada in Lower Woodstock is a part-time, casual driving role paying $23.28 per hour with a minimum of 4 shifts per month. A candidate’s resume should put their valid full driver’s licence and clean driving record front and first, since the posting ties both to a condition of employment, and follow with any customer-oriented work experience that demonstrates the service skills the role requires.

Resume & Application Tips: Mirror the posting’s own language: “pick-up and delivery,” “customer service,” and “computerized tracking systems” are phrases worth carrying into your work history. If you have driven a van or commercial vehicle, name the class of licence and the type of vehicle. A concrete example such as “completed 80+ stops per shift with zero missorts over six months” shows the accuracy and pace the job calls for. Have your current driver’s abstract ready before you submit, as the posting states it will be reviewed.

Interview Preparation: Prepare a specific example from past work where you handled a time-sensitive delivery or a difficult customer interaction, since both time management and customer service skills are listed requirements. Be ready to confirm your availability for varying shifts and your willingness to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month. The posting does not state which shifts are available, so it is worth asking what the typical scheduling looks like and whether there are opportunities for additional shifts beyond the minimum.
