About the Role: Cosmetics Associate (Overnight)

As a Cosmetics Associate, your primary focus is the beauty and cosmetics department. You’ll be responsible for stocking and rotating merchandise, setting up and maintaining product displays, ensuring accurate pricing and signage, and stepping in to help customers find exactly what they’re looking for. Product knowledge matters here — you’ll be positioned as the department expert customers can rely on.

Working overnight means managing a high volume of restocking and recovery tasks while staying organized and efficient throughout your shift. Physical demands are part of the job — you’ll be on your feet, lifting inventory up to 20 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Supporting loss prevention and following company procedures around claims, returns, and asset protection are also key parts of keeping the store running right.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay starts at $18.40 per hour. Responsibilities

Day-to-day in this role, you’ll be balancing customer interaction with behind-the-scenes merchandising work throughout the overnight shift. From greeting shoppers and sharing product knowledge to completing large volumes of restocking before the store opens, this position keeps you actively engaged from start to finish.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner — helping them find products, make purchase decisions, and resolving any concerns appropriately
• Stock and rotate merchandise on the sales floor, remove damaged or expired items, and ensure displays are well-maintained and visually appealing
• Complete picks and downstocking as required, and execute planogram/modular changes including flex modulars and new shelf caps
• Apply product protection measures and support loss prevention efforts by identifying high-shrink items and following company policies on claims and returns
• Maintain accurate signing and pricing throughout the cosmetics department to ensure customers always have the right information
• Support Front End and store operations when needed, and refer service or transactional requests to the Customer Service Manager as appropriate
• Manage overnight hours effectively, staying energized and focused while handling high-volume restocking and recovery tasks accurately and on time
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory up to 20 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
