Consumables Associate – Walmart – Tsawwassen, BC
Location: Vancouver, BC | Company: Walmart
Walmart’s Tsawwassen location is looking for a Consumables Associate to join their in-store team. If you enjoy staying active, helping customers find what they need, and keeping shelves looking their best, this could be a solid fit. The store at 5143 Canoe Pass Way serves a busy local community, and you’d be right at the centre of it all.
This role puts you on the salesfloor and in the backroom, moving product, setting up displays, and making sure customers have a great experience every time they visit. It’s a hands-on position that keeps things moving at a steady pace — ideal for someone who likes variety in their workday.
About the Role: Consumables Associate
As a Consumables Associate, you’ll be responsible for the flow of merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor. That means stocking and rotating products, setting up and maintaining displays, pricing merchandise, and making sure the department looks clean and organized. You’ll also be a go-to resource for customers who need help locating items or making purchasing decisions.
Beyond the day-to-day stocking duties, you’ll play a role in loss prevention by identifying high-shrink items, properly handling claims and returns, and following all Walmart safety and compliance procedures. Working as part of a team is central to this position — you’ll coordinate with colleagues and refer certain matters to the Customer Service Manager as needed.
Benefits and Salary
The minimum starting wage for this position is $18.00 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, Walmart Canada offers a range of benefits including a store discount, deferred profit sharing, stock options, life insurance, paid time off, access to the Live Better U education program, and EQ Health support. Comprehensive benefits and paid time off eligibility may vary based on hours worked and employment status.
