The role involves both independent work and coordinating closely with your team and management.

Working in a fast-paced retail environment, you’ll be expected to maintain a safe and clean salesfloor, follow proper handling procedures, and support customers throughout their shopping experience. You’ll also complete modulars, apply product protection where required, and flag any operational concerns to a Customer Service Manager as needed.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.00 per hour. Responsibilities

Day-to-day work as a Consumables Associate involves a mix of customer interaction and physical merchandising tasks. You’ll be keeping the salesfloor stocked and organized while also being a helpful resource for shoppers throughout your shift.

• Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner to create a welcoming shopping environment
• Assist customers by promoting products and services, locating merchandise, and supporting purchase decisions
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues to management when appropriate
• Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, and managing product displays
• Sign and price merchandise accurately in accordance with company standards
• Receive and stock merchandise, using equipment properly and completing required documentation and logs
• Handle claims and returns properly, identify high-shrink items, and uphold a safe and secure work environment
• Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps, and apply product protection where required
