Community Specialist, Channel Retail (Fixed-Term) – Apple – Ajax, ON
Based in Ajax, Ontario, this Community Specialist, Channel Retail role at Apple is built for someone who loves connecting people with technology and thrives when on the move. Rather than working from a single location, you’ll travel across a network of partner reseller stores, bringing the Apple brand experience to life wherever you go. It’s a fixed-term position of approximately 12 months, running 40 hours per week, Wednesday through Sunday, with some flexibility required.
This isn’t a traditional retail role. You’ll be acting as a brand ambassador — part sales professional, part educator, part merchandising expert — building relationships with both retail partners and end customers. If you’re energized by variety, genuine curiosity about technology, and a drive to influence people even when you’re not in the room, this opportunity is worth a close look.
About the Role: Community Specialist, Channel Retail
As an Apple Community Specialist, your day-to-day involves visiting multiple partner retail stores within your assigned community, delivering hands-on product demonstrations, keeping merchandising standards sharp, and educating both store partners and customers. You’ll sell directly to customers while working closely alongside reseller partners to drive awareness and adoption of Apple products, accessories, and services.
A big part of what makes this role unique is the expectation that your influence extends beyond your physical presence. You’ll build trusted relationships at multiple points of sale, deliver small in-store training sessions, share the latest promotions, and feed insights back to Apple’s internal teams. Strong self-direction, time management, and reliable personal transportation are essential since you’ll be planning and executing your own partner visit schedule in alignment with your leader.
Benefits and Salary
Apple offers a competitive base pay range of $49,700 to $67,600 CAD for this role, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Beyond base pay, Apple employees have access to a broad compensation and benefits package that includes comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted Apple products and free services, and tuition reimbursement for education that supports your career development at Apple. Employees are also eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and may participate in the Apple Employee Stock Purchase Plan to buy Apple shares at a discount. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. Note that qualified candidates can typically expect a hiring rate up to the midpoint of the pay range, with exceptions for candidates with particularly strong experience.
