Change Management Specialist – Canadian Tire – Toronto, ON
Location: Toronto, ON | Company: Canadian Tire
Canadian Tire Corporation is one of Canada’s most recognizable and trusted companies, and they’re looking to bring a skilled Change Management Specialist onto their IT team. Based in Toronto, Ontario (or Calgary, Alberta), this hybrid role puts you at the centre of enterprise-level IT governance, working within a dynamic ITSM framework that keeps one of Canada’s largest retail operations running smoothly.
This isn’t just a process-administration role — it’s a position with real influence. You’ll be shaping how changes are planned, assessed, and implemented across a complex IT environment, working directly with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to manage risk and drive continual improvement.
About the Role: Change Management Specialist
As the ITIL Change Management Specialist, you’ll govern and administer the end-to-end Change Management process, ensuring that IT changes are introduced with minimal risk and disruption to business operations. You’ll facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, coordinate stakeholder approvals, and oversee compliance with IT General Controls (ITGCs) and audit requirements. Your work will directly support service stability, audit readiness, and strategic process improvement across Canadian Tire’s ITSM landscape.
You’ll also play a key role in optimizing ServiceNow Change Management workflows, producing executive-level reporting on change performance, and collaborating with Incident and Problem Management teams. This role demands someone who can communicate confidently with both technical professionals and executive stakeholders — and who thrives in a governance-driven, fast-paced environment.
