Responsibilities

Working on the floor at the FedEx Brampton facility, cargo handlers are the backbone of daily freight operations. From the moment shipments arrive to when they’re sorted and dispatched, your hands-on work ensures that packages move accurately and on time.

  • Load and unload freight from delivery vehicles and facility docks
  • Scan packages to maintain accurate tracking throughout the facility
  • Sort freight according to designated routes and delivery zones
  • Lift and manoeuvre packages weighing up to 70 lbs independently, and up to 150 lbs using proper equipment
  • Complete mandatory training and all recurrency certifications as required by FedEx
  • Operate within PC/Windows-based systems as part of day-to-day warehouse tasks
  • Adapt to varying shifts based on operational needs, while maintaining availability for 4–5 days per week

Requirements / Skills
