About the Role: Cashier Part Time Day

This part-time cashier role centres on providing an efficient and friendly checkout experience for shoppers. You’ll be responsible for scanning products, handling cash and credit card transactions, and keeping your register area organized and stocked. You’ll also support in-store promotions and assist customers with general questions as needed.

Working as part of a collaborative store team, you’ll be expected to maintain a positive environment and uphold Loblaws’ CORE Values — Care, Ownership, Respect and Excellence. This role also involves handling liquor products, including stocking shelves and processing sales at the cash register. Candidates 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check.

Benefits and Salary

This is a unionized position, and pay rates are governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The hiring range starts at $17.60 and goes up to $27.44 per hour. Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the register and throughout the store
• Scan products and process customer transactions accurately and promptly
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with care and precision
• Support the delivery of company-directed promotions and programs
• Maintain a neat and well-stocked register area at all times
• Assist customers with general inquiries in a courteous and resourceful manner
• Contribute to a positive store environment for both customers and teammates
• Handle liquor products, including stocking shelves and processing sales at the cash register
