About the Role: Cashier Part Time Afternoon

As a Cashier at Loblaws, your primary focus is delivering great customer service while processing transactions efficiently and accurately. You’ll be the last touchpoint before a customer leaves the store, making your role essential to their overall shopping experience.

This is a unionized, part-time position with afternoon shifts. You’ll work as part of a collaborative store team, helping maintain a positive in-store atmosphere and supporting company promotions and programs as directed. The hiring range for this position is $17.60 – $27.44 per hour, as set out in the applicable collective bargaining agreement — the range reflects the starting scale for this role. • Provide consistently great customer service throughout every transaction
• Scan products and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly
• Support the delivery of company-directed promotions and programs
• Maintain a neat and well-stocked register area with essential supplies
• Assist customers with general inquiries in a courteous and resourceful manner
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming store environment

Requirements / Skills

• Team player with good verbal communication skills

• Flexible availability including days, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Physical ability to move up to 25 lbs and stand for the duration of shifts
