About the Role: Bakery Commercial Clerk

In this position, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the bakery section is fully stocked, neatly organized, and ready to meet customer demand throughout your shift. You’ll handle product scanning, inventory tracking, and assist with ordering when stock levels need attention. Setting up company-directed promotions and programs will also be part of your routine.

Beyond stocking shelves, you’ll be expected to maintain health and safety standards throughout the department, keep your area tidy, and deliver genuine, helpful customer service. Working as part of a team while also being capable of handling tasks independently will be key to succeeding in this role.

Benefits and Salary

This is a unionized position, and the hiring range is $17.95 to $18.45 per hour, as set out in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Responsibilities

Working in the bakery commercial department, you’ll play a direct role in shaping how customers experience the store. From keeping product displays fully stocked to responding to customer questions, your contributions keep the department operating at a high standard every shift.

• Provide great customer service by ensuring store shelves are stocked and responding promptly to customer needs
• Maintain and stock product displays and shelves to meet company standards
• Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs, assisting with ordering as required
• Set up company-directed promotions and programs within the department
• Keep department areas neat and uphold health and safety standards at all times

Requirements / Skills
