About the Role: Bakery InStore Clerk

This is a part-time position suited to someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable being on the move throughout their shift. You’ll be responsible for keeping the bakery section well-stocked, ensuring product displays meet company standards, and providing helpful, friendly service to customers who have questions. No previous experience is required — Loblaws provides full training to get you up and running.

Working as part of the store team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe, and organized department. You’ll follow health and safety standards, support company-directed promotions, and help ensure product accuracy at the till. Being a team player and staying on task independently are both important in this role.

Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain bakery shelves and product displays to meet company standards
• Provide customer service by responding to questions and guiding shoppers through available products
• Ensure accurate product scanning and support inventory management throughout the shift
• Identify inventory needs and assist with the ordering process as required
• Set up promotions and programs as directed by the company
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the department at all times
• Follow health and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for colleagues and customers
