About the Role: Asset Protection Representative
In this position, you’ll be a visible and trusted presence on the store floor — deterring theft, detecting fraud, and working alongside store leadership to identify loss trends. Responsibilities
Day to day, this role is about staying vigilant, acting decisively, and working as part of a coordinated asset protection team. Your responsibilities span active floor presence, evidence gathering, and strategic collaboration with store management — all of which play a direct role in reducing shrink and maintaining a safe retail environment.
- Deter and prevent theft, fraud, and policy violations through a consistent and professional in-store presence
- Apprehend offenders safely and lawfully, adhering to all company policies and applicable legislation
- Conduct investigations — both internal and external — gathering and analyzing evidence to support case resolution
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required during apprehensions or ongoing investigations
- Partner with store leadership to identify loss trends and develop targeted shrink reduction strategies
- Ensure compliance with company security standards and provincial regulations
- Adapt to a dynamic environment with flexible scheduling and a proactive approach to emerging challenges
Requirements / Skills
