About the Role: Asset Protection Representative
As an Asset Protection Representative at Loblaws, you’ll be on the front lines of loss prevention in a dynamic retail setting. Your day-to-day will involve monitoring for theft and fraud, conducting investigations, compiling evidence, and coaching colleagues on asset protection policies and procedures. You’ll be a key partner to store management while also collaborating with other APRs on provincial and national organized retail crime (ORC) cases.

Responsibilities

- Conduct internal investigations and compile and present evidence for court or arbitration proceedings
- Identify shrink opportunities within operational core compliance processes
- Build and maintain store partnerships through management meetings, huddles, and colleague coaching on asset protection policies
- Participate in store-level audits to assess compliance and identify risks
- Engage in community events as a representative of the Loblaws asset protection team
Requirements / Skills

- Valid Provincial Security Guard Licence — required before starting the role
- Working knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and Powers of Arrest
- Experience with CCTV and/or surveillance systems is an asset
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Professional, approachable demeanour with strong interpersonal skills
