Google Cloud is looking for an experienced AI Sales Specialist to join their Business Services team. This is a senior-level, advanced role with flexibility to be based out of multiple locations across the U.S. and Canada, including New York, NY, Atlanta, GA, Austin, TX, Chicago, IL, San Francisco, CA, and Cambridge, ON, among others. If you’re a seasoned enterprise sales professional with a passion for artificial intelligence and cloud technology, this role puts you at the forefront of Google Cloud’s growth.
In this position, you’ll be the bridge between Google Cloud’s AI solutions and the organizations looking to transform their operations. You’ll engage directly with customers to uncover AI use cases, demonstrate product value, and guide them through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles — all while collaborating across internal teams including Customer Engineering, Marketing, and Product.
About the Role: AI Sales Specialist, Business Services
As an AI Sales Specialist, your core mandate is to grow Google Cloud’s AI business by building and expanding relationships with both new and existing enterprise customers. You’ll work to deliver genuine business value, walk customers through product functionality, and present compelling AI-powered business use cases tailored to their unique challenges. Sales cycles will span productivity solutions as well as more complex engagements where customers are building entirely new products on top of Google’s AI infrastructure.
This role calls for strong cross-functional collaboration, working alongside account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal to develop sound business cases and close agreements. You’ll also be expected to develop and execute account plans aligned with Google’s responsible AI framework, ensuring that every customer engagement is thoughtful, strategic, and built for long-term success.
Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this role in the U.S. is $138,000 – $200,000 USD, plus a 100% bonus target, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) with company match, 20 days of paid vacation annually, sick time, 13 paid holidays per year, and generous parental leave — including up to 28–30 weeks of maternity leave and 18 weeks of baby bonding leave.

Responsibilities
This role is central to Google Cloud’s AI revenue growth, requiring you to juggle multiple enterprise accounts simultaneously while delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You’ll operate as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them from initial discovery through to closed agreements and long-term expansion.
- Build relationships with customers as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, managing complex business cycles and influencing the long-term direction of accounts
- Deliver against quota and achieve or exceed business and growth goals while forecasting and reporting on your territory’s pipeline
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Channel teams to develop go-to-market strategies and close agreements
- Develop and execute account plans informed by Google’s responsible AI framework across an assigned territory or market
- Manage multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, understanding each customer’s technology footprint, growth plans, and business drivers
- Identify AI use cases and solution opportunities that deliver tangible business value to enterprise clients
Requirements / Skills
Google is looking for someone who brings deep enterprise sales experience and a genuine understanding of AI and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing executive-level relationships, navigating complex procurement cycles, and consistently hitting or exceeding ambitious targets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of experience in a sales role within enterprise software, cloud, or AI
- AI sales experience — identifying use cases to solve customer challenges or selling AI technology directly to clients
- Track record of carrying and exceeding business goals in a quota-carrying sales role
- Executive relationship management — experience developing new territories and accounts while ensuring customer success and expansion
- Cross-functional collaboration — working with account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal to build business cases and close agreements
- Knowledge of cloud and AI market trends, products, and solutions, including foundational technical understanding
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and active listening skills
