About the Role: Workspace Sales Specialist III, Enterprise
As a Workspace Sales Specialist, your primary focus is expanding and deepening relationships with both new and existing enterprise clients. You’ll demonstrate the full value of Google Workspace — including its productivity, collaboration, and SaaS capabilities — while aligning solutions to each customer’s unique business goals. Day to day, you’ll lead cross-functional collaboration across internal teams including Customer Development, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product, all while owning your territory’s pipeline and forecasting.
Success in this role requires not just strong business development instincts, but the ability to operate with empathy and strategic foresight. You’ll be expected to construct and execute territory development plans, close agreements, and serve as a subject matter expert who can influence the long-term direction of key accounts. Collaboration with Google’s partner ecosystem and legal and procurement stakeholders is also a core part of the job.
Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this full-time position in Canada is CAD $180,000–$185,000, in addition to a performance bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities
This role sits at the heart of Google Cloud’s enterprise growth strategy in Canada. As a Workspace Sales Specialist, you’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pipeline development to closing complex agreements with large enterprise accounts. Your responsibilities will directly shape how Google Workspace is adopted across some of the country’s most significant organizations.
- Build and manage long-term relationships with enterprise customers as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, identifying solution use cases and influencing account direction
- Deliver against quota and achieve or exceed business and growth goals while accurately forecasting and reporting on your territory’s pipeline
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Customer Development, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Channels to develop go-to-market strategies and drive pipeline growth
- Construct and execute an effective territory development plan tailored to enterprise business cycles
- Demonstrate product functionality and provide comprehensive overviews of key business use cases for Google Workspace
- Work with procurement and legal teams — both internal and external — to inventory existing software estates, build transformation business cases, and close agreements
- Leverage the partner ecosystem to multiply your impact and accelerate growth across high-value accounts
Requirements / Skills
Google is looking for a candidate with a deep background in enterprise software or cloud sales and a proven track record of exceeding business goals. The ideal person brings both strategic thinking and hands-on execution skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizations and influence decisions at the executive level.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of experience in a business role within the enterprise software or cloud space
- SaaS sales experience, particularly with productivity or collaboration technology solutions sold to enterprise clients
- Cross-functional collaboration skills, including experience working with account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal to close complex deals
- Territory planning expertise with the ability to prioritize, organize, and execute solution-based sales activities within business cycles
- Knowledge of cloud, productivity, and collaboration market trends, including competitive products and emerging solutions
- English proficiency is required; French language skills are an asset given the Montreal location
