If you’re placed on a Site Reliability track, your focus shifts to keeping large-scale, business-critical systems running smoothly — from troubleshooting traffic anomalies at the code level to building new monitoring and automation infrastructure. Either path offers a structured learning experience alongside a professional development program that includes an executive speaker series and community-building events. You must be located in Canada for the full duration of the internship, and English proficiency is required.
Benefits and Salary
This internship comes with a published compensation rate. The salary for this role in Canada is $99,000 CAD annualized with a 0% bonus target, prorated to the internship term length. Requirements / Skills

You don’t need to have worked at a tech company before — coursework and personal projects count.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (all academic years welcome)
- Software development experience in two or more general-purpose languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Familiarity with data structures and algorithms — gained through coursework, personal projects, or work experience
- Available to work full time for 12 weeks outside of university term time, and currently attending a degree program in Canada
- Returning to a degree program after the internship concludes (preferred)
- Experience with three or more languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, or similar (preferred)
- Background in AI/ML, distributed systems, mobile development, Linux/Unix, or security software development (preferred)
- English proficiency is required for all participants in the program
