Package Handler/Non-Driver – FedEx – Saint-Hubert, QC

Based out of Saint-Hubert, Quebec, FedEx Canada is looking for a Package Handler / Non-Driver to join the team at their facility on J.A. Bombardier. If you’re someone who likes staying active, working with your hands, and being part of a fast-moving logistics operation, this could be a solid fit.

About the Role: Package Handler / Non-Driver

As a Package Handler at the Saint-Hubert FedEx facility, your core responsibilities revolve around the movement of freight through the warehouse. You’ll be loading and unloading packages, operating scanning equipment, and sorting items according to routing requirements — all while maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout your shift.

Safety and compliance are central to this role. You’ll need to follow FedEx Canada operational procedures and be aware of Canadian Customs regulations. The work environment requires physical stamina and the ability to handle packages of varying sizes, including those up to 70 lbs unassisted and up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment. Shifts may vary based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

Working on the warehouse floor at FedEx Saint-Hubert, your day-to-day tasks are centred on keeping freight moving accurately and safely. Each task contributes directly to on-time deliveries and the smooth operation of the facility.

• Loading and unloading freight from vehicles and conveyor systems within the facility
• Scanning packages to ensure accurate tracking and routing throughout the facility
• Sorting freight according to destination and delivery requirements
• Handling packages up to 70 lbs independently and up to 150 lbs with proper equipment
• Completing training programs and recurrency requirements as mandated by FedEx
• Operating in a PC/Windows environment for any required data entry or scanning tasks
• Working varying shifts as required based on business and operational needs

Requirements / Skills

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required for candidates residing in the province of Quebec
• Physical capability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to complete all basic and recurrency training successfully
