Overnight Associate – Walmart – Vaughan, ON

Walmart Canada’s store in Vaughan, Ontario is looking for a dependable Overnight Associate to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working the 11pm to 7am overnight shift, you’ll play a key role in keeping the store stocked, organized, and ready for customers each morning. About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate at Walmart Vaughan, your primary focus is on receiving and processing merchandise and ensuring it flows efficiently from the loading dock to the sales floor. You’ll be part of a coordinated overnight team, working together to strategically plan and execute tasks based on the night’s workload. A key differentiator of this role compared to day or evening shifts is the stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in backroom bins before stocking.

Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment is a core part of this position. You’ll follow company policies and procedures, complete safety sweep logs, and ensure all displays and fixtures are secure — contributing to a workplace that’s safe for both associates and customers alike.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.75 per hour. Responsibilities

Overnight Associates at Walmart are the backbone of store readiness. Each night, you’ll work as part of a team to process incoming shipments, stock shelves, and ensure the store is fully prepared before opening. • Prepare the sales floor for store opening each morning
• Set and merchandise features, including signing and display placement
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of various merchandise types
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label and organize merchandise into backroom bins — a key focus of the overnight role
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when required
• Label the sales floor to ensure it’s ready for store opening
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
