About the Role: Dairy Frozen Associate (Overnight)

The core of this position is keeping the Dairy/Frozen department organized and stocked through the overnight hours. You’ll rotate merchandise, check for expired products, and ensure temperature and cold chain standards are met throughout your shift.

Pricing, signing, and inventory accuracy are part of your regular duties. You’ll follow established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, flagging, and labelling to keep the department accurately signed and priced.

Food safety and sanitation are central to this role. You’ll perform temperature checks, thermometer calibration, and proper food handling, and you’ll follow all cleaning and sanitation procedures to uphold store and health standards.

The overnight shift brings a high task volume. You’ll manage large volumes of restocking and recovery, and plan your shift to maintain energy and focus from start to finish.

• Maintain department organization: keep the Dairy/Frozen department clean, organized, and properly zoned so it is customer-ready at all times
• Rotate merchandise regularly and check for expired products to maintain freshness and quality standards
• Ensure accurate pricing and signing: follow established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labelling
• Adhere to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by and expiration dates, and sanitation procedures
• Maintain department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution
• Keep a safe and clean work area by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, and by following all Company policies and Health and Safety guidelines
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs
