HMR Clerk Part Time Day – Loblaws – Etobicoke, ON

In this day shift role, you’ll be working on the floor — stocking shelves, assisting customers, and keeping the Hot Meal Replacement (HMR) department organized and running smoothly. It’s hands-on, fast-paced work that plays a direct role in the in-store shopping experience.

About the Role: HMR Clerk

As an HMR Clerk, your primary focus is making sure customers can find what they need, when they need it. You’ll maintain product displays and shelves to meet company standards, support inventory management, and help set up promotions as directed by the store. Accurate product scanning and identifying stock needs are also key parts of the job.

Beyond the stocking duties, you’ll be a point of contact for customers on the floor. That means being courteous, knowledgeable, and ready to help resolve questions on the spot. You’ll also be expected to uphold health and safety standards and keep your department area clean and organized throughout every shift.

Benefits and Salary

The hiring range for this position is $17.60 to $18.45 per hour. This is a unionized position, and pay rates are governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement — the range listed reflects the starting scale. Responsibilities

Day-to-day, an HMR Clerk at Loblaws is focused on keeping the department stocked, organized, and ready for customers. These responsibilities directly support a positive in-store shopping experience and smooth store operations.

• Stock and maintain product displays and shelves to meet company standards
• Provide customer service by responding to customer needs and engaging in helpful, knowledgeable conversation
• Ensure accurate scanning of products and identify inventory gaps to support ordering
• Set up company-directed promotions and programs in the department
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold health and safety standards in department areas

Requirements / Skills
