About the Role: Flex Driver

This is a part-time, casual position based out of 8481 Place Marien, Montreal-Est, QC. You’ll be operating as a driver for Federal Express Corporation Canada, handling package deliveries and pickups on assigned routes. The role requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, complete mandatory driver training, and adapt to varying shifts based on business demands.

Responsibilities

As a Flex Driver with FedEx Canada, your day revolves around safe and timely delivery of packages to customers across your assigned route. Keeping customers satisfied and shipments on schedule is at the heart of everything you do in this role.

• Deliver and pick up packages on assigned routes in a safe and timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service during every interaction at the door and on the road
• Lift and handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs throughout the shift
• Complete mandatory training including pre-placement driver assessments and all basic and re-currency training modules
• Operate in a PC/Windows environment as needed for scanning and routing tasks
• Adapt to varying shift schedules based on operational business needs
• Maintain a clean driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents within the past 24 months

Requirements / Skills

FedEx is looking for a dependable, customer-oriented individual who can handle the physical and logistical demands of a delivery route. The ideal candidate is bilingual, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while managing their time under pressure.

• Valid full G licence / Class 5 driver’s licence — required for this role
• High school diploma or educational equivalent
• Bilingual in French and English — mandatory for positions in Quebec
• Ability to lift 70 lbs — physical demands are a core part of this position
• Customer service experience — one year in a customer-oriented business is preferred
• Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple stops efficiently
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage stress effectively
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations is considered an asset
