About the Role: Field Sales Representative III, Enterprise Growth, Cloud

As an FSR on the Enterprise Growth team, your focus will be on driving consumption growth and new logo acquisition within a defined enterprise territory. You’ll leverage your knowledge of cloud, data, and AI technologies to demonstrate clear business value and return on investment. This means building multi-year account strategies, structuring sophisticated commercial agreements, and presenting forward-looking proposals that resonate with executive stakeholders.

Success in this role requires both strategic thinking and operational discipline. You’ll maintain a healthy sales pipeline, produce accurate forecasts, and work cross-functionally with Customer Engineering, Partner, and Post-Sales teams to ensure seamless delivery and a strong customer experience. Responsibilities

This role sits at the intersection of strategic account management and enterprise cloud sales. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for owning business growth outcomes across a portfolio of enterprise accounts, driving both new business and consumption expansion.   • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to surpass business goals and build consultative, trusted relationships with enterprise customers
  • Leverage emerging technology trends, market analysis, and expertise in cloud solutions to demonstrate how Google Cloud can transform customer businesses
  • Manage and track the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to close, ensuring pipeline health, accurate forecasting, and clear visibility into expected outcomes
  • Negotiate and structure complex, multi-year commercial agreements and develop persuasive proposals that clearly articulate return on investment through customer business cases
  • Orchestrate internal and external teams — including Customer Engineering, Partner, and Post-Sales functions — at the right moments to drive consumption and deliver seamless customer experiences

Requirements / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required
  • 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a B2B software company
  • Full sales cycle management experience, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
  • Commercial negotiation skills, with experience managing complex, multi-party agreements
  • Consultative selling to executive stakeholders, with the ability to present vision-forward proposals and build long-range account strategies
  • Experience with cloud, data, and AI technologies — and the ability to position their business value against customer challenges and opportunities
  • Business and financial acumen, including P&L management and accurate revenue forecasting
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and work with external partners on complex project delivery
