Responsibilities
Day to day, you’ll be handling some of the most sensitive and consequential HR matters in the organization. This work requires a careful balance of legal knowledge, interpersonal skill, and strategic thinking — every decision you make has a real impact on employees and the business alike.
- Identify and resolve complex and highly sensitive employee relations issues, including situations where there are no established precedents
- Advise and influence market leadership teams on critical ER decisions including harassment, business conduct, terminations, and HR policy matters
- Evaluate employee-related decisions in response to employee concerns, ensuring fairness and consistency
- Conduct investigations into potential misconduct and policy violations across varying levels of complexity
- Perform workplace violence assessments and develop and implement appropriate response plans
- Provide consultation on workplace accommodations in partnership with relevant business partners
- Communicate and implement country-wide employee relations programs, policies, and procedures
- Deliver training for HR, ER, and line management teams on employee relations topics
- Analyze ER metrics through the case management system to identify trends and develop proactive strategies for cultivating a positive employee relations climate
Requirements / Skills

- 7–12+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations

- Bilingual proficiency in English and French-Canadian, as this role supports employees across all Canadian provinces
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across markets and stakeholders simultaneously
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20–30% of the time
- Exceptional communication skills — listening, written, and presentation — along with the ability to influence and build strong partnerships
