Driver Helper (Seasonal) – UPS – Caledon, ON

UPS is seeking a part-time, seasonal Driver Helper to join our team in Caledon, ON. In this role, you will assist UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick-ups in and around the Newmarket area, ensuring packages are delivered on time and customers receive the highest level of service.

This seasonal position does not require driving but does involve working closely with UPS drivers. You will meet drivers at designated local meet points to help with package delivery and pick-up duties.

Key Responsibilities for the Driver Helper (Seasonal) Role

As a Driver Helper (Seasonal), your key responsibilities will include:

• Meet UPS drivers at assigned local meet points to assist with deliveries and pick-ups.
• Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively following established procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service through timely deliveries and maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, lowering, and carrying packages up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) unassisted.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including walking to make deliveries.

Minimum Qualifications for the Driver Helper (Seasonal) Role

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, up to 25 hours per week.
• Flexibility to work 3 to 5 hours per day, with varying start and end times depending on operational needs.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) unassisted.
• Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must wear a company-provided vest, black pants, and black or dark brown boots.
