About the Role: Dairy Frozen Associate

In this position, you’ll maintain the Dairy/Frozen department to Walmart’s standards — that means clean, organized, properly zoned shelves with accurately priced and signed products. You’ll rotate merchandise, check for expired items, and ensure the cold chain and food safety standards are followed consistently, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, and proper handling procedures.

This role calls for flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You’ll also handle the physical demands of retail stocking — standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory up to 20 lbs. regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay starts at $17.75 per hour. Responsibilities

• Maintain department organization by keeping the Dairy/Frozen section clean, properly zoned, and customer-ready at all times
• Rotate merchandise regularly and check for expired products to uphold freshness and quality standards
• Ensure accurate pricing and signage by following established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, and labelling
• Adhere to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, and proper product handling
• Support merchandising and promotional execution by maintaining department features to current standards
• Keep the work area safe and hazard-free by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items in line with Company policies and Health and Safety guidelines
• Manage a high-volume workload efficiently, ensuring restocking and recovery tasks are completed accurately and on time
