Consumables Associate – Walmart – Windsor, ON

About the Role: Consumables Associate

As a Consumables Associate, your main focus is keeping the consumables section of the store fully stocked and neatly organized. You’ll receive and stock merchandise, handle product displays, manage pricing and signage, and make sure customers can always find what they’re looking for. You’ll work as part of a larger team contributing to a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll also play a key role in customer service — greeting shoppers, answering questions, assisting with product locations, and resolving concerns appropriately. Following Walmart’s health and safety standards and proper handling of returns and claims are also part of the daily routine.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.75 per hour. Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner upon entering the area

• Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date items, and managing product displays
• Handle claims and returns properly, secure merchandise, identify high-shrink items, and uphold a safe work environment per company policy
• Receive and process stock, use equipment appropriately, and complete required paperwork and documentation
• Stock shelves and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps, applying product protection as needed
• Refer service and transactional matters to a Customer Service Manager as required
