More than a repair technician, a Genius at Apple is a mentor, a problem-solver, and a trusted advisor. You’ll handle everything from diagnosing device issues to educating customers on the full range of Apple products and services, all while setting the standard for what exceptional service looks like.
About the Role: CA-Genius
In this position, you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Apple hardware and software for customers who visit the Genius Bar. You’ll combine deep technical knowledge with strong interpersonal skills to guide customers through their repair options, recommend relevant products and services, and make sure they leave feeling confident and supported.
Beyond individual customer interactions, you’ll play an active role in elevating your team. As a mentor and resource for fellow Genius Bar members, you’ll share knowledge, model best practices, and help build a culture of inclusion and excellence across the store. You’ll also work closely with team leaders to flag recurring issues and relay feedback to Apple.

Responsibilities
The day-to-day of a Genius at Apple is dynamic and varied. You’ll move between hands-on hardware and software repairs, customer consultations, and team mentorship — all within the fast-paced environment of a busy Apple retail location. - Troubleshoot and repair Apple hardware and software issues, resolving service concerns efficiently and thoroughly
- Support customers experiencing Apple product or software problems with care, empathy, and all available tools and resources
- Educate customers on repair options, Apple products, and relevant services, identifying opportunities to enhance their ownership experience
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes to support high-quality repairs
- Collaborate with team leaders to identify recurring repair problems and ensure feedback reaches Apple
- Mentor Genius Bar team members, serving as a positive role model and sharing technical knowledge and insights
- Support leadership in providing timely resolution to customer escalations

Requirements / Skills

- Proficiency in written and spoken English (French proficiency required for Quebec-based roles)
