Role of the Business Intelligence Engineer II
As a Business Intelligence Engineer II, you will be responsible for extracting meaningful insights from complex data sets, automating data processes, and supporting engineers and scientists in analytical projects.
You will collaborate with data engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance our product offerings and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Analyze transaction data to understand customer behaviors and generate actionable insights.
- Experimentation: Design and conduct experiments to support business decisions and product growth.
- Automation: Develop and implement scalable data infrastructure for efficient data processing and delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600 to $185,000 per year, depending on location, skills, and experience. Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence using tools like Redshift, Oracle, or NoSQL.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight.
- Experience in data modeling, ETL pipelines, and statistical analysis using R, SAS, or Matlab.
- Strong SQL and Python scripting skills.
- Experience with forecasting and presenting data-driven recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
- Background in data mining and working with large-scale datasets in a business environment.
