Key Responsibilities

Preparation and Baking

• Assemble, measure, and mix large quantities of ingredients following Costco formulas.
• Operate power mixers, dough rollers, and other bakery equipment to prepare batters, frostings, and fillings.
• Roll, cut, and shape dough for bread and pastries, transferring raw products to raising rooms.
• Bake products in industrial ovens, monitor cooking times, and transfer finished items to cooling racks.

Quality and Safety Standards

• Monitor sanitation, temperatures, and pull dates to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow department production procedures to ensure the consistency and quality of baked goods.

Customer Service

• Provide prompt and courteous service to Costco members.
• Assist with other bakery duties and collaborate with team members as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification: Level 1 Food Safety Certification is required on the first day of employment.
• Experience: Previous baking experience is required.
