About the Role: AI Solutions Deployment Manager
The Cloud Applied AI team powers business growth through Gemini Enterprise, a portfolio of solutions built for high adoption and rapid value delivery. As AI Solutions Deployment Manager, you will contribute end-to-end to the delivery of agentic solutions, working with deployment specialists to implement best practices and incubate new products. You will pioneer architectural frameworks, author reusable technical assets, and help define what scalable, velocity-driven AI deployment looks like across the enterprise landscape.
This role demands someone who is simultaneously a builder, a strategic systems thinker, and a skilled navigator of complex technical and business environments. You will bridge the gap between LLM capabilities and deterministic enterprise systems, manage cross-functional delivery teams, and influence executive decision-makers — all within a team that collaborates directly with model builders at an unprecedented pace.

- Contribute to 0-to-1 solution engineering, including architecture design and debugging for complex agentic workflows

- Engage with C-suite stakeholders and manage cross-functional delivery teams across partner organisations

- Incubate new products and define best practices that enable scalable deployment across the Google Cloud customer base
Requirements / Skills
The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation combined with hands-on experience in enterprise AI deployments and customer-facing consulting. Google values professionals who can operate with both the depth of an engineer and the strategic thinking of a systems architect, particularly within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles (e.g., Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Specialist, Principal Consultant) with a focus on enterprise systems
- 3+ years of coding experience in one or more programming languages such as Python or Java
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt development, and conversational AI frameworks
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Preferred: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), complex production systems, and multi-stakeholder technical projects
- Preferred: Background in telecom customer deployments or similar regulated industries
- Preferred: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence executive stakeholders in large organisations
