In this part-time, permanent role, you will conduct package audits using DWS machines and GSS scanners to minimize lost revenue. About the Role
As a Warehouse Revenue Recovery Auditor/Package Handler, you will be responsible for auditing packages using DWS machines, weighing packages for accurate readings, and ensuring all labels are properly scanned. This role requires maintaining production standards, meeting daily performance goals, and adhering to UPS’s safety protocols. You will assist in moving packages weighing up to 150 lbs and perform tasks using data scanning devices and other equipment.
The start time for this position is 4:30 AM, with an earlier start on Mondays at 2:00 AM. Flexibility is required, as start times may vary depending on package volume.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform package audits using DWS Machines and Global Scanning System (GSS).
- Weigh packages at DIM weight scanners for accurate readings.
- Ensure production standards are maintained and meet daily performance goals.
- Follow UPS safety standards at all times and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Lift, lower, push, pull, and manipulate packages weighing up to 70 lbs, and assist with packages up to 150 lbs.
- Work in variable environments with changing temperatures, dust, and noise.
- Coordinate and prepare information for internal use and distribution.
Basic Qualifications
UPS requires the following qualifications for the Warehouse Revenue Recovery Auditor/Package Handler role:
- High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and assist with packages up to 150 lbs.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and variable temperature environments.
- Effective verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
UPS prefers candidates who also possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Experience in data entry and auditing processes.
