About the Role: Warehouse Associate II (MHE)
The Warehouse Associate II plays a key operational role within UPS’s supply chain network. You’ll be responsible for a wide variety of warehouse functions, including unloading, sorting, picking, kitting, packing, shipping, and cycle counts. Responsibilities
This role covers the full spectrum of warehouse operations, from receiving inbound freight to coordinating outbound shipments. You’ll be expected to follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) carefully while keeping accuracy and efficiency front of mind on every shift.
- Receive and inspect inbound product according to established SOPs
- Put away product in the correct location and manage returns, including counting quantities and assessing condition
- Pick and verify orders, confirming product name, code, lot number, expiration date, and quantity — escalating discrepancies to the Lead or Supervisor
- Pack and stage outbound orders securely, applying correct documentation, labels, and refrigeration stickers as required
- Create shipping documents including waybills, manifests, and labels for parcel and LTL skid shipments; maintain accurate data in the warehouse management system
- Operate power equipment safely, including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet movers, and order pickers
- Conduct cycle counts daily, weekly, and/or monthly; identify OS&D (over stock, shortages, damages) and correct or report discrepancies
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email, resolve issues promptly, and compile daily and monthly client KPI reports
- Promote workplace safety and participate in the Comprehensive Health & Safety Program (CHSP) committee
Requirements / Skills
