About the Role: Warehouse Associate II (MHE)
As a Warehouse Associate II at UPS Calgary, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of warehousing functions including unloading, sorting, picking, kitting, packing, shipping, and conducting cycle counts. You may support multiple client accounts and will use tools such as RF Scanners, pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts to carry out daily tasks. You’ll also interact directly with customers and vendors, working under the guidance of a Warehouse Lead or Supervisor.

Responsibilities
Day-to-day work in this role covers the full spectrum of warehouse operations — from receiving and put-away to shipping and client reporting. Staying organized, accurate, and compliant with SOPs is essential to keeping client accounts running smoothly and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Receive and inspect inbound product according to established SOPs
- Put away product in correct locations and process returns including quantity confirmation and condition assessment
- Pick and verify orders by confirming product name, size, product code, lot number, expiration date, and quantity — escalating concerns to a Lead or Supervisor as needed
- Stage, pack, and label outbound orders with appropriate documentation such as pick/pack slips and shipping manifests
- Operate power equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet movers, and order pickers safely and according to SOPs
- Use RF Scanners to electronically scan barcodes and maintain accurate data in the warehouse management system
- Conduct cycle counts daily, weekly, and/or monthly; identify and report OS&D discrepancies (over stock, shortages, damages)
- Create shipping labels, waybills, and shipping manifests for parcels and LTL skid shipments
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email and communicate service issues to the Supervisor
- Compile daily and monthly client reports per SOP, including customer KPI reports
- Promote safe work practices and participate in the Comprehensive Health & Safety Program (CHSP) committee
