About the Role: Team Leader
As a Team Leader at Dollarama Ottawa, you’ll take on a wide range of responsibilities that keep the store performing at its best. From supervising daily operations and managing shipments to coaching associates and resolving customer concerns, you’ll be at the heart of what makes the store run. This is a permanent full-time position offering 25 or more hours per week, with scheduling based on store operational needs including days, evenings, and weekends.
You’ll also play a key role in inventory management, employee training, and performance evaluations. Responsibilities
The Team Leader role at Dollarama covers both people management and store operations. You’ll guide associates through their daily tasks, uphold merchandising and safety standards, and step into a manager-on-duty capacity when needed. - Lead and supervise store associates, offering day-to-day guidance and support
- Manage store merchandising, including shelf stocking, boxing, and unboxing daily shipments
- Uphold customer service standards and address complaints or issues in a timely, professional manner
- Perform manager-on-duty tasks such as overseeing breaks, time tracking, and attendance
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards aligned with company strategy
- Ensure store safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Handle cash management and perform store opening and closing procedures as required
- Participate in inventory counts and related processes
- Support employee training and contribute to performance evaluations
