About the Role
As a Seasonal Package Delivery Driver, you will be at the forefront of UPS’s operations, driving and delivering packages to homes and businesses. Your daily responsibilities include lifting packages up to 70 lbs, operating UPS vehicles, and providing excellent customer service during every delivery. No CDL is required, but a valid driver’s license is necessary.
Work hours are full-time, ranging from eight to ten hours per day, and schedules may vary depending on the business needs, from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. You will follow pre-determined routes, ensuring safe and timely deliveries while complying with all company appearance guidelines by wearing the provided uniform.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver packages of various sizes to customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Operate UPS vehicles, complying with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Lift up to 70 lbs and handle packages carefully during loading and unloading.
- Provide excellent customer service during each delivery.
- Follow delivery schedules and maintain accurate tracking of working hours, breaks, and routes.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid driver’s license (no CDL required).
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service and driving skills.
- Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in delivery services or customer service roles.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
