Responsibilities
Day-to-day, this role keeps the Lethbridge FedEx facility moving. You’ll be part of a team that handles freight with care and accuracy, directly contributing to on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction across the region.
- Load and unload freight from vehicles and conveyor systems within the facility
- Scan freight accurately to maintain tracking integrity throughout the supply chain
- Sort packages according to FedEx routing and handling procedures
- Lift and manoeuvre packages weighing up to 70 lbs independently, and up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- Complete training including all basic, recurrency, and mandatory courses, and maintain annual accreditations where applicable
- Operate within a Windows PC environment as needed for scanning and tracking tasks
- Adapt to varying shift requirements based on operational business needs
Requirements / Skills

- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Physical capability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment

- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Ability to complete all required training, including recurrency and mandatory certification programs
- Comfortable working in a PC Windows environment for operational tasks
- Bilingualism (French and English) required for candidates residing in the province of Quebec
