About the Role: Package Handler / Non-Driver

As a Package Handler, your primary responsibility is to load and unload freight, as well as scan and sort packages within the facility. This role operates on a part-time schedule, Monday to Friday from 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM, making it a solid option for those who prefer morning hours and value a consistent weekly routine.

This position requires you to work safely and efficiently alongside your team. You’ll be expected to follow FedEx Canada operations standards and adhere to Canadian Customs regulations. Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers and delivery vehicles within the facility
• Scan packages to ensure accurate tracking and documentation throughout the shipping process

• Operate within FedEx Canada operations standards and follow Canadian Customs regulations
• Work varying shifts as needed based on business requirements

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate is physically capable, reliable, and comfortable working in a structured warehouse setting. FedEx values team members who can work independently while staying aligned with safety and compliance standards.

• Physical capability — must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages weighing up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
• High School Diploma or GED — preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations — an asset
• Good interpersonal skills — ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with your team
• Ability to complete mandatory testing and training and meet minimum performance thresholds
• Basic PC/Windows proficiency for operational tasks within the facility
