Responsibilities
Day-to-day, this role centres on safe, efficient mail delivery across assigned routes in the Québec area. You’ll be responsible for the full delivery cycle — from loading your vehicle to communicating with customers — making your contribution directly visible to the communities you serve.
- Load and unload postal vehicles while keeping mail and Canada Post property safe and secure at all times
- Collect, sort, and deliver mail to residential and business addresses on your route
- Operate portable communications devices to coordinate with dispatch and confirm deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety checks before and during shifts to ensure roadworthiness
- Complete documentation and maintain accurate delivery records
- Communicate professionally with customers and the general public
- Shuttle corporate delivery vehicles between parking locations and loading platforms to support pre-loading operations
