Day to day, a UPS Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently moving packages from point A to point B — but the role goes beyond just driving. Every interaction with a customer is an opportunity to represent the UPS brand with professionalism, and every delivery completed accurately keeps the operation running smoothly.
- Deliver and pick up packages to and from residential and commercial properties on assigned routes
- Practise UPS safe driving methods consistently when travelling to and from all destinations
- Lift, lower, and carry packages throughout the shift, including items weighing up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Provide excellent customer service through courteous, professional interactions at every stop
- Maintain efficiency and dedication throughout each route to meet delivery timelines
- Comply with UPS appearance guidelines to maintain a professional and consistent brand image
