Role of the Cloud Support Engineer
As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of transformational technology, acting as the ‘Cloud Ambassador’ across all cloud products. You will work on critical, complex customer problems, apply advanced troubleshooting techniques, and provide unique solutions to our customers’ individual needs.
You will also contribute to feedback and improvement initiatives and participate in a follow-the-sun model to ensure 24/7/365 support.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve customer issues through various contact channels including web, live chat, and telephone.
- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for customers.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to improve AWS services.
- Drive projects that improve support-related processes and the customer support experience.
- Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community.
- Coach/mentor new hires and participate in hiring and training development.
- Work rotational shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on customer demand.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $57,700/year up to $96,400/year, based on experience and skills.

Requirements
- 1+ years of software development or technical support experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
- 1+ years of system administration experience.
- Fluency in both written and verbal Korean.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby, and/or PHP).
- Experience with virtualization (Hypervisors, VMware, Xen).
